Q. How did you come up with the name Alyssmn?
A. My name is Alyssa but I was named after the alyssum flower so it just seemed fitting to name my store that. I changed the spelling to ‘alyssmn’ because I thought it looked cooler.

Q. Is there more than 1 owner of ALYSSMN?
A. Nope, just myself!

Q. How do you find your models? How do I become one?
A. We have almost 4,000 Facebook friends so we search and find girls who we think would suit the style of the store. If you would be interested in modeling for ALYSSMN feel free to message us on Tumblr or Facebook or even via email at info@alyssmn.com.au

Q. Is this your only store? Would you expand?
A. Yes, our Hawthorn store is the only store at the moment, we’d love to expand eventually though.

Q. How did you make the store? Did you do it yourself?
A. I worked 3 jobs for a long time and saved all my money, I always knew I wanted to own a store so I made it happen. My mum taught me all there was to know about business as she is a fashion designer herself.

Q. Do you employ many people?
A. I have Jade :)

Q. How do I purchase?
A.  Our online store is currently being built at the moment so we are using Facebook in the interim. Add us at www.facebook.com/alyssmnhawthorn and just shoot me an inbox or comment on the photo of the item you’d like :)

Q. How do you pronunce ‘ALYSSMN’?
A. A-LISS-EM!
